The Liverpool University Boat Club emailed us to give notice that on the 8th December 2024, they are hosting a beginner rowing race on the River Weaver all day.
They are racing on a 1km stretch of river from the Sutton Weaver swing bridge to just outside of Runcorn Rowing Club. There will be several boats gathering on the other side of the swing bridge before racing starts. There are two divisions: a morning division that begins at 11 am and an afternoon division that begins at 2 pm.
