Canal and River Trust: Looks after 2,000 miles of canals and navigable rivers including the Weaver Navigation. Website has information on licencing, stoppages, attractions (such as Anderton), leisure activities.
Cheshire West and Chester: Our local unitary authority. As such, CWAC is a key part of economic regeneration. The council is also a Flood Risk Management Authority for the Weaver.
Environment Agency: A Flood Risk Management Authority for the Weaver (though the navigation and sluices are managed by the Canal and River Trust).
